Baker Ross sent us some really lovely Spring themed art and craft kits for us to try out! We adore arts and crafts and being creative! Ellie was super excited to get stuck into these!


We first coloured in the creative flower wreaths.


Each pack contains 6 assorted spring/floral designs, each wreath comes with a piece of ribbon to hang the wreath and the wreachs are approx 18.cm in size. They are printed on good quality card, you can use fine tip fibre pens or markers to colour these lovely wreaths in.

Ellie choose the daffodil and tulip pattern to colour in first! She was all "It's almost Spring and these are perfect for Spring time" She is SO excited for Spring, as am I. We coloured the wreaths in together (because I am a big kid and I love to colour, haha)


"My favourite flowers are tulips... RED Tuplips" Ellie told me. "I'm colouring these in so carefully! I can't wait to hang them up when they're finished" She really enjoyed colouring these in, as did I. There is a hole already cut into the wreaths ready for the ribbon to be threaded through and then the wreaths can be hung.

These were great fun to colour in and they make a lovely decoration for this time of year!
Priced at just £2.60 for a pack of six, they are so worth the money!


Next up we decided to make the peacock crinkle decorations!
Before we had even opened the packet Ellie told me "I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THESE! They're SO pretty" in a rather excited voice, haha.


Each pack contains four foam assorted peacocks in different colours, along with foam self adhesive shapes/stickers, some sequins, wiggle eyes, the peacock templates and some tissue paper. The peacock size is around 12.5cm. You will also need glue or foam dots (which is not included) We used a glue stick just fine though.


Ellie looked at the instructions and said "Do I fold the tissue paper like a fan?" I told her that yes that's right. So that's what we did, we folded the tissue paper as you would a fan. Backwards and forwards until we got to the end. And then we folded our "Fan" like tissue paper in half, we fanned it out and glue the folded halves together "This looks like a peacocks wings" Ellie declared. We then added the peacock template. The peacock template is self adhesive.

I threaded the ribbon through the hole.
Ellie then added the face, beak and eyes which are also self adhesive.



We decorated the peacock and wings together. Using the self adhesive foam stickers for the wins and the sequins for the body of the peacock. We used our glue to glue the sequins onto the peacock.
"WOW these are just beautiful" Ellie told me.


They are now hanging proudly on our kitchen window handles along with the suncatchers that Baker Ross also kindly sent us!

Baker Ross have such a wine range of Spring arts and crafts to choose from! They're all very reasonably priced and always great quality. I really can not recommend there products enough.

Baker Ross sent us some lovely art and craft kids to review. Included were these beautiful Flower Suncatcher Decorations and Glass Colour Pens.


Ellie was super excited to start colouring the suncatchers with the glass pens! The pens come in a pack of five (orange, white, pink, blue and green). They are transparents gloss liquid paint and need a good shake before using! (These pens can also be used on plastic, metal and porcelain)


Next up we took out our suncatchers and Ellie picked which ones she wanted to colour in. The suncatchers come in a pack of 8 assorted designs. The suncatchers are approximately 8cm in size. Also supplied are 8 ribbons to hang the suncatchers with.


The glass pens work perfectly on the plastic! The colours are bright and virant. I also would like to mention that the pens wipe off the surfaces (and hands!) very easy, too!
Ours took a short while to dry as we left them close by the radiator! And then we hung them up on the window handles. thjey make a lovely, unique, Spring decoration. After this long, cold winter, we are very much looking forward to spring and these suncatchers remind us that spring isn't very far away! Ellie told me "I'm really looking forward to spring and some warm weather! I bet the sun shining through the window will nake these suncatchers look even prettier" Bless her.


Ellie coloured hers in carefully. "These are super fun, I bet they'll look great hanging on the window" Ellie told me. It didn't take her long to colour them in.. I may have had to have a try too... because I am a big kid and these looked like such great fun to decorate. We really enjoyed decorating them!


 The top of each suncatcher has a hole which the ribbon can be threaded through. It was ever so easy to thread the ribbon and then tie a knot at the top so the ribbon didn't fall through.




Priced at just £2.99 (at the time of writing this review) for a pack of 8 suncatchers, I'd say they're well worth the money. They're easy to decorate and great fun! Ellie really enjoyed decorating them.A perfect little Spring activity for any child who enjoys being creative!

Baker Ross sent us a lovely selection of Christmas art and craft kits to review. Included was some very festive Gingerbread House Photo Frames and Santa Mix & Match Decoration Kits. We love arts & crafts, especially Christmas themed ones. These are the perfect creative activity for children.

First of all we tried out the gingerbread house frames!


The Gingerbread House Photo Frame Kits are priced at just £2.99 (currently on sale for £1.49 at the time of writing this review - An absolute bargain and I highly recommend!!) for a pack of five. Each kit includes five mini kits including the ginger bread house foam shapes, self adhesive stickers and ribbons - Everything you need to make your gingerbread house photo frames.


First of all we picked our our decorative stickers and then chose a 'Photo' to stick in our frame. We used old Christmas cards and cut them to the right shape. Ellie choose Santa! (This is also a great way to use old Christmas cards and gift tags. I'm all for recycling and re-using and this is a perfect craft activity for doing just that!)
After we had stuck the picture in the frame (no glue required as ALL the shapes and stickers are self adhesive) Ellie was all "YAY! Time to decorate and make my gingerbread house look Christmasy"
The decorative shapes are SO easy to use. You simply just peel off the back of each foam sticker shape and stick it in place on the gingerbread house. Ellie thought this was fantastic and really enjoyed sticking on her shapes!
The ribbon is very easy to thread through the (already pierced) hole. These would be perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree! We can't wait to put ours up next week and display our decorations!

Next we decided to make our Santa's using the Santa mix & match decoration kits.


Each kit includes six individual kits and everything you need to make your Santa decorations - Self Adhesive foam stickers, six Santa's and the ribbons to hang the Santa with.


First of all we picked our Santa's and then stuck on the decorations "I love Santa's glasses" Ellie told me. "I also really like the hats, they're super cool" Bless her.


Like the Photo Frames, the sticker decorations (belts, hats, glasses etc) are all self adhesive. No glue is needed and they make minimal mess (My kind of activity - No mess to clear up, haha)

The Santa mix & match decoration kits are priced at £2.99 and are well and truly worth every penny. They're fun, easy and very festive - Perfect for this time of year. We really enjoyed making these, too! Baker Ross sell such a wide range of Christmas arts and crafts for little ones, all very reasonably priced, too.

We really enjoy Christmas arts & crafts. It really helps us feel festive and Christmasy. Baker Ross have such a wide range of Christmas arts and crafts. We were sent these really cute reindeer decoration sewing kits to review.


Each kit contains three individual reindeer kits and felt shapes, self-adhesive felt pieces, yarn, stuffing, googly eyes, ribbon & plastic needles and of course Rudolph's red nose.  No glue is needed as the felt shapes are self adhesive. Instructions are also included.


Ellie and decided to make these together. We put our reindeer shapes totgether and then added the ribbon. I started Ellie off with her sewing as she needed a little help to begin with, just until Ellie had got the hang of it.



"This is actually really good fun and quite easy once you get use to sewing" Ellie told me. She was rather proud of herself and her sewing!


Once we'd got half way around the reindeer with the yarn, we decided to add in the stuffing to make the reindeer "puffy and soft" as Ellie calls it, haha.

Once the stuffing was in we carried on sewing around the edge with the plastic needle and yarn. And then it was time to decorate our reindeer with a big, sparkly, red nose! Some eyes, antlers, ears and a mouth!

 Ellie really liked that the shapes are self adhesive, you just simply peel back the paper on the back and stick the shapes in place. We thought the holly was a lovely touch, too!


"They are SO cute!!" Ellie declared "I can't wait to put them on the Christmas tree in a couple of weeks". Bless her.
The Rudolph Reindeer Decoration Sewing Kits are perfect for children aged 5+ and really do encourage children to learn to sew. They're great fun to make and they look so festive and cute!
I'm kind of tempted to put the Christmas tree up now just so we can use our new decorations, hehe.
Priced at just £3.60 for a pack of three, they are affordable and really good quality!
