I've still not got any internet but when I DO have the internet I will be forever grateful. Life without the internet is hard. It's strange how we come to rely on such things that never existed years and years ago! I'm scheduling this post while I have access to mobile internet. I'm thankful that blogger has a schedule blog post feature, haha.

Anyway, here are my reasons to be thankful this week.

1) I am thankful for the half term. So far we've had a lovely half term. We've been to castle park again and fed the squirrels some nuts. I could have seriously spent all day just feeling them, lol. Not even kidding when I say that, I loved them, as did the little's. There was a summer fete/fair thingy on in castle park, with Go Kart rides, bouncey castles, cheer leaders and other dancing. It was a fab day.

2) The weather has been lovely *knocks on wood* so far this week, always a blessing when the weather is nice. I love being able to hang my washing on the line, it smells so much fresher. It's the simple things in life that make me happy.
 Even my cat has been enjoying the sunshine, bless.

3) The kids have been really well behaved. I think it helps that they can play outside safely. Riding up and down the path way on there scooters and what not! They've all made new friends and settled in really well to our new house and area. Ellie has a friend that lives a couple of doors down and they play together for hours with there scooters/bikes and dolls. :)

Wow, I've been busy this week. I've been trying to organise my house a little better and eliminate junk and things we no longer use or that fits us. I am quite thankful for this and it feels SO good to get rid of stuff we no longer need. I've donated a fair bit to a local charity shop. I really don't like throwing things away but if someone else can make use of things we can no longer use then I'm all for giving it away! :)

While sorting through all my 'junk' I came across old photo albums, an old memory box, old letters from school friends and penpals dating right back 1996! I honestly didn't think I still had those but turns out, I do. I also found the cards and what not from when all three of my children were born and lots of other random things, I am SO happy I found all those things. I even found some photos of Harry from when he was a baby. I thought these had been lost in a house move, so you can imagine how happy I was to find them! I am really, really thankful and grateful for those photos.
This photo isn't the best photo quality in the world because well, it was taken eleven years ago on a normal (film) camera and it's a photo of a photo but I thought I would share.

I'm thankful this week for my online friend that has been encourage me and helping me, giving me advice and tips to loose weight and get fit! She has really, really supported me so much. She's been doing the 30 day shred with me and I find it SO good to have support and encouragement. Also for all my blogging friends that have been leaving me supportive comments, I always find this so motivating! So thank you so much to everyone who has left me supportive comments. I also love reading all your weight loss posts, so very inspiring :) It's lovely we can all help each other.

1) I am cheerful that Christmas is coming. Although I haven't brought a thing (except 1 little stocking filler and some Christmas cards) I am excited! I've been looking at Christmas decorations, pricing them and getting so excited! Look what I spotted in The Range:

2) I am SO proud of Charlie! He filled a shoe box for the Christmas shoe box appeal for children living in poverty in other parts of the world. Him and his class mates took there boxes to the church (with the school) and presented them. I was so proud of him watching him present his box. There's well over 200 shoe boxes going to children who are in need! It's such a good cause!! I loved the service at the church, too.

3) Fireworks!! We had an amazing bonfire night. We went to the display at the kiddies school and it was truly amazing! The kids had a blast too. They enjoyed running around with there flashing thingys and dancing to the music, hehe. Of course, the fireworks were the best part! A really good display.

1) I am so grateful for the NHS. I know it does get bashed an awful lot but honestly? Without it, we wouldn't be able to afford health care. Yes, there might be long waiting lists and yes they are incredibly short staffed.. there are lots of "faults" but we should all be very grateful that the NHS exsists! I'm grateful it does.. I am grateful they took good care of my nan on Saturday in A&E. I am glad we don't have to pay for medications (etc).

2) My eldest son turned ten years old on Sunday. I posted pics here. He is so, so grown up! I love watching him grow up (but sad at the same time, haha). I am so proud of him. :-) He said to me the other day "Mum, I am so lucky to have gotten new football boots and all my other birthday presents, thank you" Aww. That really made me smile. Little things like that really do go a long way.

3) The kids break up for half term on Friday! Yay!!! No school runs for a whole week. No school uniforms, packed lunches or rushing around! I'm looking forward to a well needed break and to spend some extra time with the kiddies. They're excited about Halloween and half term etc. =)
