Today has been stressful. It's just been on of those days. Actually October has been one of *those* months. You know, where everything that can go wrong, does go wrong?! Well, it's been a bit like that for me! I'm so not in the mood to go into everything right now but gah! Talk about stressful. Thinks could always be worse, or at least that is what I keep telling myself.. *sigh*
I am SO glad it's half term, hopefully we can have a relaxing half term.
We have plans to go trick or treating (weather permitting), I also need to make a dentist appt for all three kiddos, Charlie has been complaining his tooth feels strange.. hmm.
Harry hopes to be able to play football with his friends but errr, the weather is not looking too great for next week!
Charlie is really, REALLY looking forward to carving a pumpkin - well me doing the carving and him helping with the drawing lol. We did a cat last year!
And Ellie, she keeps asking me if there's a halloween disco anywhere, I've got to look into that and make a few phone calls, there's usually a couple of discos local for kids but I've not seen any posters or had any flyers thrru the door. I shall have a nose around and see what we can find. Perhaps we should have our own mini disco....
We're also going to be doing some Halloween baking and cooking. Me and the kids have some really good ideas! :)
Also hopefully we'll be able to go for a nice Autumn walk (weather permitting!) We're yet to find a big pile of leaves to jump into.... lol. And a few other things from our autumn bucket list.
What are your plans for the half term and Halloween?

This weeks #TheGallery theme is 'Faces' so I decided to share lots of pics I've taken over the past few months of our faces, lol! I wish my eldest (H) would let me take more photos of him. As he's got older he's become camera shy. I usually have to bribe him to let me take a photograph of him, lol. I know it won't be long before the other two little ones won't let me take there photo's either, which is why I take so many photo's now. And I am glad I do.
I can not believe Ellie is six years old today. It's madness how fast time flies.
Ellie was born at 12:01pm on 16th September 2013, weighing 6lb 10oz.
It doesn't seem possible that she was born six years ago!! SIX!! Craziness.
Ellie is really growing up, she's outgoing, out spoken and certainly an out-doorsy girl. She's smart, funny and sweet and is becoming more and more independent every day. She's also becoming more girly.

We celebrated Ellie birthday yesterday with family and friends as she had school today. We had a lovely little tea party with lots of yummy party food and nibbles. Ellie opened some of her presents yesterday (from other people) and got to play with her best friend and two little cousins! She had a really lovely time.
Today, we celebrated her birthday, just us. We had a special birthday tea and birthday cake. Chocolate birthday cake which Ellie picked herself! Yummy. She got to open more of her presents today from us. She has found a new love to collect - sylvanian families! She LOVES them. Yay!
Happy Birthday Ellie.
Ellie is so tired now, lol! She's just about ready for a bedtime story and sleep. She has had a lovely birthday with lots of nice presents, yummy food and of course love and attention! She took some sweets into school to share with her school friends and everyone sung 'Happy Birthday' to Ellie. Her brothers have played, sang and goofed around with her today. They've all had such fun.
I'm exhausted... I think we all need an early night.

I can't believe that my children are now in years 1, 4 and 5. Craziness. Time seems to go so fast these days. The kiddos are growing up sooooo fast. It feels a little bit surreal sometimes.
This morning was a bit chaotic. Ellie just didn't want to co operate, she was very grumpy as you can see in the pic but once we started to walking to school, she spotted some of her friends along the way and she was soon smiling and excited to be going back to school! She loves her new class teacher and was very excited to see all of her friends!
The boys were ever so excited! Especially Harry. He had missed his mates so much. We were early and all the parents and children were lined up outside the school gate, Harry soon spotted his group of friends and off he went. Apparently I can no longer give Harry a kiss or hug good bye because (and I quote) "it's embarrassing and I'm not a little kid anymore mum" He's none going on thirteen!! Charlie soon found his mate and they all walked into school together! Bless 'em.
They all really enjoyed there first day back and were really tired tonight, awww.
And If I'm honest I did enjoy the peace but oh my goodness, I missed them like crazy!! I was fifteen minutes early this afternoon, picking them up from school but I didn't mind waiting, I was eager to hear all about there first day back.

I'm going to take part in the Brit mums Photo Challenge. Each day is a different theme. I'll probably post the pictures once or twice a week, (rather than every day) all in one post, if that's ok :-)

There was no entry fee which I thought was awesome. However, it was £5 for a wrist band that entitled kids to unlimited time on the bouncy castles/inflatable slides and what not, I thought it was well worth it. There were quite a few bouncy castles/slides etc there, Ellie spent a good two hours playing on those with her friends. If they'd have been charging 50p or £1 a go, it would've cost a lot more that a fiver. So well worth it in my opinion. We wont 3 prizes on the raffle (£1 for six tickets!!) a box of Malteasers, a bag of mixed sweets with a ribbon tided around it and a brand new necklace (fashion necklace) for Ellie with pretty beads on, she loved that! We also brought Ellie an Ice cream. The boys were at there dads, they went fishing (and apparently caught a few fish, they had fun but it wasn't the same without them with us at the fete. Next year I'm sure they'll be able to come) but we did buy them a something each and they got to share the sweets we won.
There was a guy at the fete doing an animal talk show, so cool! He had a big tarantula spider, some huge insects and millipede things (they freaked me out! I had to walk away. I'm such a wimp, lol) and snakes. Eek! I did like the tortoises. It was cool thing to have at a school fete, educational, too! And Ellie got her face painted and I got a slice of chocolate cake (It would've been rude not to, haha). All in all I think I spent about a tenner. We were there a good two and half hours! It was fun and Ellie enjoyed it. I think she liked the slide that she had to climb up and then slide down and go thru tunnel things. I must admit, it did look fun, lol! Wish I could've had a go, haha.
On Sunday, we went to the carboot sale, it was SO hot and very busy! I didn't look around half the stalls because it was so crowded and just too hot to wait around, lol. I did however pick up this cute little trinket box. It's perfect for keeping my earings in and not bad for £1!
(I like anything that sparkles and is pink! Hehe)
My next post will be about sports day, unfortunatly I have no pics of Ellie that I can share because it's the schools policy not to post them on the internet, only your own children. All the pics have other kids in. I did however, get one of Ellie on her own and one of the boys together. I shall be writing about that sometime this week :)

(P.S I feel like I always post more pics of Ellie than I do the boys, that's because they hate having there pictures taken, apparently it's for "babies". As Harry would say "Ahuh, whatevz" lol. Kids these days with there lingo, eh?! Lol.)
