The past couple of days have been unevetful to be honest. I've been suffering with hayfever really bad. I have never, ever had it this bad before, I honestly feel like I can't breathe. It's horrible. I'll have to try some different hayfever tablets because the ones I currently use haven't been working. Needless to say, I've been staying indoors as much as possible. We have managed to venture out into the garden though. I'm quite lucky to have such a huge back garden.

The boys have had fun playing football and making the most of the lovely weather. It's great fun hearing and watching them playing football. Hearing them cheer when they score a goal, bless them. Harry and Charlie are both supporting Brazil in the world cup as England are now out.

Ellie has also been enjoying the lovely weather, she went on a snail hunt! We have really long grass right down the end of our garden, which the snails seem to love! Ellie found a snail and wanted me to take a picture of it, so that's what we did! We of course released the snail back into the long grass after I took this photo. Ellie really wanted to see what the snail looked like underneath, hence putting it in the glass (which is actually an old Nuttella jar, not one we drink out of by the way - thought I'd add that in there, lol!)

We also enjoyed some watermelon outside in the sunshine, so refreshing and perfect for summer! Yummy. Ellie gave it a thumbs up.


I am hoping my hayfever calms down and/or I find a suitable tablet/cure soon. We reallllyyy want to go on a picnic next week, somewhere that we have never been before and I have a few ideas in mind, hehe.

Charlie with his world cup poster.

The world cup is a massive thing in our house, although I'm personally not a lover of football, all three kids are. They love it and are so, so excited about the world cup. The little's really wanted to make a world cup poster. So that is exactly what we did.
We used card, poster paints, a black marker pen and of course stickers!!

Charlie wanted to make a world cup poster to do with England and Brazil. So he used a lot of green paint, painted a football pitch and then stuck some stickers on. And very nice it looks too.



Ellie wanted to make a simple flag type poster. She painted a big red cross in the middle of the card and stuck some stickers around it! Bless her.



They're both ever so proud of there posters, I'm proud of Ellie and Charlie for putting in such a big effort :) Harry is yet to do his, he's been busy playing football, lol. He's thinking about how he's going to make his poster apparently, hehe.

Wow. Hasn't the weather been amazing? (knocks on wood).
Yesterday my brother and sister in law popped 'round to ours with my niece! We haven't seen them for a couple of weeks so it was really nice to see them :)

We decided we'd go for a bit of a walk (a two hour walk!) while the weather was nice. It was really warm and sunny. We got an ice-cream and a nice cold drink.


We ended up at the park. Ellie and A (my niece) played on the park for a while. The boys wern't really interested in the park, they were more interested in playing football. Lots of there friends were at the park and joined in with a good ol'e game of football!


We had a nice walk home followed by a cold ice pole from the freezer! We were all so tired after our long walk and playtime at the park! It was a great day and we can't wait to spend more time outside in the sunshine! Infact, we've already been on another walk to town today and the kids have had fun playing in the garden on there bikes and what not! Such good fun. :D
I've even got a bit of a tan (only a bit though)
