Cathy glass has wrote many books, she has been a foster carer to many, many years and fostered over 150 children. She is an amazing woman and I wish there was more people in the world like her! Anyway, this is the story of a young girl called Joss. She has been through so very much in her life already. She finds her father dead, he comitted suicide when she was nine years old and Joss and her mother discover him. Which I can't even imagine what that must have been like, especially for a nine year old child. Joss' mum remarries, Joss doesn't like her new step dad and ends up in Cathy's care. There's a twist to this story that I didn't see coming and was shocked! I may have had a bit of a lump in my throat and tear in my eye if I'm honest. It is a very sad story but it has a much happier ending.
Another brilliantly written book from Cathy and my heart goes out to Joss and her family.
Five stars from me.

I've read all the previous fifty shades of grey books and I actually enjoyed them. I think I fell in love with Christian and Ana's relationship. So I was quite looking forward to reading "Mr Grey" However, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the other books, maybe I didn't actually need to read it from his perspective. Still though, it was an easy read, didn't take me too long to read either. Not the best written book in the world but considering it all started as Twilight Fan Fiction it was to be expected. I probably wouldn't read this book again if I'm honest but I am glad I read it. Hopefully that made sense.

This is the Amazing Story of the Enfield Poltergeist On August 31st 1977, normal life ended for Mrs Harper and her four children in their modest council house in a hitherto quiet corner of the north London suburb of Enfield. Compared to what was to come, the initial phenomena were relatively minor - knockings on the walls, and pieces of furniture moving in ways that did not seem normal. The neighbours came in and searched the house, finding all in order, though they too heard the knocking. The police were called, and were able to witness a chair sliding along the floor. The disturbances went on, getting more intense and more frightening. They were eventually witnessed by at least thirty people. They included examples of everything a poltergeist can do - overturning chairs and tables, flinging things about, whipping off bedclothes, levitating one of the girls in full view of passers-by, making her speak with the voice of an old man and defying the laws of physics by passing matter through solid matter. Much of this bewildering and often terrifying activity was captured on tape and film by Maurice Grosse of the Society for Psychical Research and his colleague Guy Lyon Playfair, who were on the case within days of its outbreak stayed on it until it finally came to an end, with a twist as unexpected and surprising as in any detective story. No other case of its kind has been so well witnessed from start to finish or so thoroughly documented. This book is about the Enfield Poltergeist which has been on the T.V and press a lot lately. Probably because there was a T.V series about it on the T.V a few weeks ago. Now, I have read a book in the past, the original book which I really enjoyed and because I'm quite knowledgeable on the Enfield Poltergeist, I couldn't wait to read this book! My dad let me borrow his copy. 
I really enjoyed this book, it took me a few days (on and off) to read. It didn't really tell much new, because like I said I have read books about this subject before but I am glad I read it! It's well written and easy to read and follow. I give this book 4.5 stars.

This book was recommended to me a while ago and I've only just got around to downloading it onto my kindle. I was really looking forward to reading this book! Personally I thought it started off a bit slow but I soon got into the book. It's beautifully written, kept me guessing all the way through and I loved all the twists in the book. If your looking for a good thriller, this book is for you.

 I recently read the cat rescue diaries on my kindle. I love reading animal tales, especially cats because, well, I am cat crazy! I can't even remember how long I've had this book on my kindle, I have just had zero time to read but once I started reading, I couldn't put it down, hehe.
I loved these short stories which were all true. Each story told the story of how people came about having there cats, rescuing them or cats adopting them. Needless to say, it really didn't take me very long to read this book. It's a truly lovely book, each story had a lovely ending!

The fifteenth fostering memoir by Cathy Glass.
Danny was petrified and clung to me in desperation as I carried him to my car. Trapped in his own dark world, he couldn't understand why his parents no longer loved or wanted him, and were sending him away.


While Danny’s parents have everything they could wish for in material terms, they are unable to care for their only child. This is where Cathy comes in. Cathy quickly becomes aware of his obsessively meticulous behaviour in addition to his love of patterns, he sees them everywhere and creates them at any opportunity – in his play and also with his food. She realises that patience is the key to looking after Danny as well as her well-tried strategies for managing children’s behaviour.
With his father refusing to cooperate, it becomes increasingly likely that Danny will be living with Cathy permanently until she gets an opportunity to speak her piece.

I've read every single one of Cathy Glass books, I really like her books a lot. Some of her stories are really sad but they generally all have lovely endings. I admire Cathy, she is so inspirational and such a good foster carer, I wish there were more people like her in the world. The world could certainly do with more people like her indeed.

Anyway.

This book was a really good read, I read it within a few hours (I actually had time!) and I could not put it down! I suppose it took me a day or so to read on and off. Little Danny has learning problems and is suspected to be autistic. His parents put him into care voluntary because they couldn't cope. He ends up living with Cathy and her family for a while, who help him. I don't want to go into too much detail because I know a lot of my readers that are reading this, haven't yet read this book. This book has a lovely ending, the best ending in fact and I must admit I may have had a tear in my eye towards the end (a -what I call- good tear).
I give this book five stars and I can not wait for Cathy's next book!

My first book of 2015. 

I downloaded this book on kindle. I was looking for something new to read! 

I wasn't really sure about this book because I thought it might be a bit young for me. However, Zoe Sugg aka Zoella is one my favourite youtubers, I really enjoy her videos on youtube so I thought I would give her book a read. 
It's an easy book to read, I read it within a day or so. It's a nice little story, it's written very well! I fell in love with the character Penny and also Noah! I kind of guessed the twist so I wasn't really shocked. It was a good book, I'd give this book 3.5 stars. I would have given it more except I do think it's for a younger audience in my opinion. I still really enjoyed it though and if Zoe brings out a second book I will probably read it... perhaps. 
Overall - A nice little read and made a nice refreshing change for me to read this!
