"Little Miss Shy is the shyest person in the world, so when she gets an invite to Mr Happy's Christmas Party, just the thought of going makes her blush. The other Mr Men are very excited. Mr Strong finds the Christmas tree, Mr Greedy bakes a Yule tree trunk and Little Miss Naughty brings the mistletoe! But will Little Miss Shy's blushes be spared when there's a thick blanket of snow on the day of the party?"
My children really, really enjoyed this festive Mr Men story! Ellie was laughing out very loud at Mr muddle who glued the Christmas lights and plugged in the Christmas paper chain. "He's got jimself in a muddle. He's suppose to glue the paper chain and plug the lights in." Ellie chuckled.
This book also had Harry giggling away, too.
The snow caught Charlie's attention "I hope it snows like that here, this Christmas" he declared. Bless him.
They kept wondering whether Miss Shy would go to the party. "She's far too shy but she really wants to go and have fun with her friends" Ellie said.
They were both very glad that Miss shy did go to the party. And had fun!
They loved this story and they loved that it involved so many of the (familiar) Mr Men. This is a lovely story for Christmas!
The book is beautifully illustrated (as always!) with simple, yet fun pictures! They match the story perfectly, too!
We think any children would enjoy this Mr Men story and it would also make a lovely Christmas present. I don't think we'll ever get bored of Mr Men stories no matter how old you are!
I am also hosting a giveaway on my blog on behalf of Egmont publishing to win 1 of 3 Mr Men and Little Miss Magazine subscriptions.
Which Mr Men story is your favourite? :)
