Pinypons are a series of collectable, interchangeable figures which were launched in March 2016 from Bandai. Pinypons can be customised in so many different ways, changing the characters clothes, hair styles and accessories. You can even change the facial expression of each pinypon by turning the head around and have them smiling, winking or frowning. Some pinypons even come with animals!

There is also a fairytale collection range of pinypons including little red riding hood, Mary poppins and Pinocchio. From June 2016, there will be a fairytale house for each of them ,too! Pinypon are also bringing out a princess range of figures, too.


We were sent a great collection of Pinypons to review. First of all we set up the pinypons fairy tree, Ellie's thoughts were "This looks magical and so cute! I can't wait to set it up and show the pinypons".
It was easy enough to set up and comes with easy to follow instructions. I did need to help Ellie with this as she is only eight years old.

The Pinypon fairies tree comes with all the pieces you need to make the tree itself, it also contains a little swing and a fairy, too! Ellie could not wait to take the fairy out of the packaging "Oh my goodness, she is SO cute! I LOVE her wings" Ellie told me very excitedly.


Putting together the fairy tree was easy enough. All the parts just clip and click into place. We followed the instructions and it was put together within 5 minutes. We noticed there are little holes in parts of tree and little flowers and accessories clip in those holes. Ellie loved decorating the fairy tree with the little flowers, hearts, stars and butterflies!

Ellie enjoyed putting all the little flowers together and clicking them into place on the tree! She thought the butterflies and hearts were rather cute! It was easy enough for her to decorate the tree in which way she wanted it.

The pinypon fairy tree is priced at £14.99 and comes with it's very own fairy and everything you need to decorate the tree, including stickers, which Ellie insisted had to be stuck to the tree.
The fairy tree also has little plastic stumps in which the fairy and other pinypons can be placed.
The pinypons have little holes in there feet and fit into the stumps perfectly.

Next we opened the pinypon figures and pet. Ellie was all "Oh my goodness!!! THIS IS SO CUTE" She seriously couldn't contain her excitement. You get one pinypon figure, some little accessories and a pet included in each pack. Each Pinypon figure and pet set costs just £4.99.  Ellie opened the Pinypon more tales figure next. She noticed it was little red riding hood and the big bad wolf! "I love her little basket" Ellie told me. This soon became her absolute favourite! The Pinypon tale figures include a fairytale figure and animal along with some accessories. These are also priced at just £4.99 each.

Next up are the single pinypon and blind bags. Pinypon single figures are priced at £2.99 and again, the pack includes a single pinypon figure and accessories.
Each pinypon has holes in her hair, hands and middle, which means you can change the accessories to whatever you pick. The pinypons themselves are made from hard plastic and are very bright and vibrand in colour! The details are awesome! They're very good quality and they are so pretty and cute (Ellie's words "pretty and cute").


The holes in the pinypon's feet fit perfectly onto the little plastic stumps on the fairy tree and swing.
Ellie opened all her pinypons. Once she'd opened them all she wanted to dress them up how she pleased. The pinypons all come apart and some of the clothes come off, you can also swap and change the accessories and even the hair! You can literally mix and match everything.
There are two faces on each pinypon, one on the front and one on the back! This is great because it means each pinypon can have a different face expression.They come apart easily and fit back together perfectly too. Each pinypon is the same size.
The hair covers the face on the back of the pinypons head. Again, the hair also fits all sizes, making it simple enough to swap and change each piece of hair on any pinypon. You can't tell that there is a face under the hair and makes it easy to change!
Each blind bag pinypon also comes with accessories and a figure, too! The thing with blind bags in there's a surprise and many to collect! Ellie enjoyed opening each blind bag not knowing what figure she would get next! It was a a lot of fun. The accessories fit perfectly into the holes on the figures. One size fits all - again, making it easy to make your very own, unique character. Ellie's favourite accessories are changing the hair clips and bags or flowers!
"Look mummy, she's winking! I love this face expression" Ellie said to me. She was so excited about the face expressions and how they can very easily be changed.
We have had hours upon hours of fun dressing the pinypons, swapping and changing clothes, hair, accessories and even facial expression! The accessories are also made from hard plastic and fit perfectly. You can make your pinypon as unique as you please with endless and many options. Each pinypon has holes in her feet (as do the pets) so they can fit onto, and stand on whichever accessory (The fairy house for example). A pinypon carriage and pinypon house is also available.
Ellie enjoys playing with these and likes how they all match and how the clothes and accessories fits every pinypon. She also told me how they're all friends and how little red riding hood is happy to have friends! She really uses her imagination whilst playing with these toys and I'm all for encouraging her with her imaginative play! The pinypons really do inspire Ellie's imagination!
Ellie said "I love that you ca mix and match all the body parts and hair. I LOVE the changable faces and I really like how brightly coloured they are. The little animals are cute, too!" She has literally had hours upon hours of fun with Pinypons. 
Pinypon also has a new magazine which is in shops now. The magazine comes with accessories - stickers, a whistle and a few other bits and bobs. The magazine is full of activities and information about pinypons!

I'd recommend Pinypons to any child that enjoys little figures and accessories aged 4 and above (bear in mind, the pinypons contain small parts). The is so much imaginative fun to be had! Pinypons are very affordable, there are many to collect and can be purchased from the Toy Entertainer Store.

Hatch N Heroes is a new exciting range of characters and heros from Bandai. Hatch N Heroes characters come in the shape of an egg. The egg then folds out, in a few simple steps and changes into the character. The characters include Big Hero 6 Baymax, Nemo, Olaf, Toy story characters along with a few others, too.

We were sent Big Hero 6 and Olaf. Now, Ellie could not wait to get into these. She is really into Big Hero 6 at the moment and she also loves Olaf, too. You can imagine how excited she was to play with these Hatch N Heroes toys.


First of all we opened Big Hero 6. Ellie was SO excited to see him fold him. His head and arms were tucked inside the egg.


It didn't take her long to figure out how to unfold him from the egg! "This is so cool" She told me.

Next we opened Olaf. "I like his hat and stick" Ellie declared excitedly. Olaf does come with his hat and walking stick. He is also in the shape of an egg, his head and arms are folded up inside the egg.


 The hat just slots onto the top of his head once he is folded out and he has a little clicky part on the back of his hand to enable him to hold the walking stick.
Ellie has had so much fun with these! She enjoys playing with them a lot and now would like to collect the rest of the characters, which have been added to her (ever growing) Christmas list.


The Hatch N Hero toys are priced at £5.99 and are retailers include Tesco, Demenhams, Toys R Us and Smyths.

I think these would make lovely stocking fillers and gifts for children.

The manufactures age recommended is 4-12 years. Ellie is 8 years old and these are perfect for her in my opinion.

We were sent a Monchhichi doll to review. Along with a Monchhichi keyring. Ellie was of course over excited to play with Monchhichi.

Monchhichi come from the french word "mom petit" which means very small and cute things. Plus a hint of 'Mon' from the English word Monkey plus the cound of sucking a pacifier/dummy like "chu chu" in Japanese. Add all of that together, gives us the word Monchhichi.

The original Monchhichi Character was created in Japan in 1974, resembling a human like monkey sucked his thumb.

Monchhichi has been around for decades and been played with by many generations ranging from all ages by both boys and girls to even young adults! More than 70 million toys and accessories have been sold in 40 different countries.


Ellie couldn't wait to get her Monchhichi out of the packaging, she was ever so excited. The first thing she said? "Mum, mum mummmmm, looks how cute she is!!!!" Whilst jumping up and down, haha. I actually remember I had something very similar to this when I was a child dating right back to the 1980's, unfortunately I haven't been able to locate mine (due to a house move) but this reminded me so much of my childhood. So I was also excited to receive this Monchhichi doll.


We were sent a fashion 20cm doll review. She wears a stylish little all in one outfit with a pink T.shirt and a bow belt. She also sucks her thumb and wears pink ribbon bows in her hair. "She's adorable" Ellie said. "I really love her little toes" Haha, so cute. She also loves the fact that her Monchhichi sucks her thumb, awww. Ellie told me she's just like a baby and that she was going to go everywhere with Ellie. She wasn't wrong, her Monchhichi doll does go everywhere with her, bless.


 Ellie couldn't wait to take her outside in the garden to play! "I think she'll like it outdoors" Ellie declared excitedly.  Ellie played in the garden for ages with her new toy. And the keyring, too. the keyring is 10cm in size. We were sent the blue Monchhichi keyring and Ellie fell in love with him immediately, she has attached hers to her school bag, hehe.



The doll and keyring are both very good quality in my opinion, they're fun to play with and Ellie really enjoys them, a lot. I personally think they are well worth the money and I just know that this is the start of a new collection for Ellie (and maybe or maybe not me too, haha!) I would really recommend Monchhichi, I think most boys and girls would really love these as much as Ellie does.


There is a lovely collection of Monchhichi dolls. Many come in different outfits, others are classic dolls (there are three classic dolls to collect!). They also have larger dolls in the collection, too. Ellie really likes the look of the sleeping one which has been added to her (ever growing) Birthday list.
The key-rings are 10cm in size priced at just £8.50. The 20cm Fashion Monchhichi's are £20. You can purchase Monchhichi from Argos, The Entertainer toy shop, Debenhams, Smyths and amazon along with a few other places.

My children are huge superhero fans. They all love anything to do with superheros, so when  I was contacted and asked if I'd like to review Sprukits, I of course said that we would love to review Sprukits.



Sprukits let you build your favourite hero in great detail with true like features and movement. Sprukits are easy to assemble and fit together.


Ellie choose to assemble the superman sprukit first. She loves superman, hes her favourite superhero so I wasn't surprised she chose to build him first.
We took all the parts out of the box and looked over the instructions. "Wow that's a lot of pieces" Ellie told me. Ellie is only seven and this sprukit is aged 8+, Ellie and I started putting this together ourself.



Ellie noticed that all the parts were labeled with numbers and letters. They're labeled to make easier to assemble.


It took as about 40 minutes to connect all the pieces of superman and fit him together but it was really good fun, Ellie and I very much enjoyed fitting him together. Because all of pieces are connected to a grid and they're all labeled, each piece just snaps off. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow! All the pieces clip and fit together easily. Ellie did need a fair bit of help to begin with though but once she got the hang of it, she easily fit the pieces together herself.


The Sprukits also include stickers and a cape for superman. I think this was a lovely touch to the superman figure. Ellie couldn't wait to see him finished with his cape on.


We put together the batman figure, too! The batman figure is a level 1 kit and didn't take us as long to build. Ellie and Charlie did most of this one themselves! Again, all the pieces are connected to a grid and labeled. The instructions are easy to read and follow!



"They click together nicely" Charlie said. Charlie's nine years old, almost ten years old and had no problems building this. He really enjoyed building it infact. Ellie helped him, too. This wasa lovely little activity that they could both do together.


Once the figures are all built, you also have a stand supplied in the kits, the figures just slot onto the stands nicely to keep them standing up, which makes them easy to display! They truly are lovely. We're going to put a special shelf up in the bedrooms so the superheros can be displayed and showed off!



The HALO sprukit comes with 161 pieces and is a lot bigger than the superman and batman superhero. We took all the parts out of the box, along with the instruction sheet. Charlie and Harry (aged 11) were both very excited about building this HALO figure, they are -what they call- "gamers" and Halo fans. 
(Please note: Harry asked me not to take photos of him as he was feeling a bit under the weather at the time. Building sprukits cheered him up though)




The boys worked on building this together with a little help from. I think they got a bit confused and overwhelmed with the instructions to begin with but I helped them and pointed out which grids and pieces to use, they soon got the hang of it. Charlie would build the legs and Harry would work on another part of the figure. Harry pointed out that he liked making "sockets" for the legs and arms etc to fit into. I guess they are a little bit like sockets. "It's quite a challenge" Charlie said "But I really am enjoying putting this all together, can't wait to see the end result" Charlei said and Harry nodded in agreement.




The Halo Sprukit took the boys quite a while to build. They stopped half way through and finished off the following day, after school. They really, really enjoyed building this. I think the Halo one is probably the hardest one to put together and took the most patience due to so many pieces. The boys really enjoyed doing this together though and seemed to have fun building Halo.


Overall we really enjoyed these sprukits. They easily snap and piece together. It's great fun and they are very much enjoyed building these superheros. This is also a lovely activity they can all do together. They're easy to assemble (with a little help from me at times). All the figures have amazing articulationand a huge range of motion.
I would totally recommend Sprukits to anyone. I'm even an adult and I enjoy building these superheros. It's great fun and a lovey activity for all to enjoy (aged 8+). I know what my children will be asking for, for Christmas! These would make a lovely gift for any superhero fan.
