1) Autumn Art - We love arts and crafts and Autumn is such a fun time to do that! Things like

• Leaf art. When you go out for a walk, look out for some different size leaves in different colours. Take them home, dip them in some paint (reds, browns, yellows etc) and print them onto some plain paper. Awesome!! 
• Decorate pine cones. Again, when you're out and about this Autumn look out for some pine cones. You could paint them all different Autumn colours. Or decorate them into Christmas tree's by painting them green and adding on little dots of colour (to represent lights/baubles etc), they make lovely home made Christmas ornaments. You could even tie on some ribbon or string and hang them on the Christmas tree. 
• Paint, colour and/or draw a fall picture using Autumn colours such as reds, yellows, orange and brown. 
• Sticking and gluing leaves etc - Stick some leaves and twigs to a piece of card (we use the back of a cereal box) and make an autumn picture. Such fun ;D My kiddies like to make "bonfire" and "firework" pictures. 

2) Splash in the puddles. This is one of my favourite things to do with the kids! They love it, too! You're never too old to splash in the puddles, hehe.

3) Go blackberry or apple picking. And make something with the fruit you pick. Crumble is a big favourite. Yummy, blackberry crumble. Mmmm. Get the kids involved, too!

4) Pumpkins - Yay! It's pumpkin season. Ha! We loveeee pumpkins. We love carving them and we really love decorating them, too! The kids usually draw a scary face and then get me to carve. Last year we carved a cat pumpkin. They also really like painting and drawing funny pictures on pumpkins. Great fun!

5) Go for a nice Autumn walk - See how many animals/wildlife you can spot! We spotted a squirrel the other day & a huge big spider spinning a rather large web (eek!) It's also a good time of year for a bug hunt because there are lots of insects around...

I really do love this time of year. I love the colours and the smells! We've made an Autumn bucket list.What do  you like most about Autumn?

Phew! It's almost the end of the week, thank goodness. I am really looking forward to a nice chilled weekend, no major plans, just gonna chill and hopefully do some 'Autumn Art' with Ellie this weekend, yay! Love this time of year.
Anyhow, here are my reasons to be cheerful this week.

1) My cats are finally starting to get a long better. I mean, the adult cat (Lotti) still hisses and growls at our new kitten (Lenni) but they DO play or rather... chase each other, but only on Lotti's terms.Which si better than her constant growling and hissing. Lenni is SO mischievous.

2) Charlie's reading has come a long really, really well! He is still a little behind but not by much. I am really pleased with his reading! I am certain it has something to do with him reading a lot more on his tablet (just a cheapy tablet but it does the job!). Ellie has also made progress with sounding out words and spelling which I'm impressed with. Harry has been helping Charlie with his homework which is really lovely to see.

3) I love this time of year! I know it's chilly and the weather can be a little unpredictable but I don't care. I love seeing the leaves change colour and the smells of Autumn. I've even made an Autumn bucket list.

Tomorrow is Friday! Yipppeee. Love Friday's. Although I have no plans, I just like Friday's. End of the week which means everyone can chillax and have a break from school (and school runs!) Lovely :)

I started blogging a long, long time ago, I've had many blogs about all sorts of things but never a public blog like this one. I was a little optimistic about starting a public blog, wondering to myself 'Why would anyone want to read about my boring life', feeling alone and bored (and a little depressed) I decided that I really wanted to share my life as a mummy to my three amazing children.
When I started this blog last year I didn't expect it to be what it is today!
I just wanted to write a post to say how thankful I am to all my followers, readers and blog friends! I am so grateful to each and every single one of you who take the time to read my blog!  Without you guys my blog wouldn't be what it is today, so thank you, ALL for taking the time to read my blog. My confidence has grown since I started blogging (I know that probably sounds quite daft), not just online but in real life too, it's thanks to you guys for being so inspirational.
I really, really enjoy blogging so much. I love reading other peoples blogs, sharing my ideas and opinions. I love writing about our lives and documenting everything. I love sharing my photos and my life as a mummy. I love reviewing and reading reviews. I love hearing other peoples opinions and sharing my own but more importantly I do not feel alone any more. Some of you I've known for years - ten years a couple of you, I've made some really, lovely friends and 'met' some amazing, inspirational people along the way.

So again, thank you, each and every single one of you for helping me, advising me, being a friend. I feel truly blessed to know such amazing people.

I honestly can't believe how fast this year is going... It's just... flown by!
I really love this time of year - Autumn. I love the smells and the sound of leaves crunching under my boots. Toffee apples and fruit pies! Mmm. It's not too cold but it's not warm either, perfect weather in my opinion. The nights get dark just at the right time and the mornings get lighter also at the right time! The leaves always look so pretty changing colour and falling off the trees. It also means I can wear my scarves, I love my scarves! What's your favourite time of year?  Then there's Halloween!! My kids really LOVE Halloween. To be honest, they just love dressing up, which they do any time of year but Halloween also means toffee apples which are very popular in this household, hehe. We really need make some Halloween plans. Do you have  any plans for Halloween? I also need to organise the kids clothes and chuck out any that no longer fit and that are not suitable for winter. I shall be doing that this week and digging out our warmer clothes..

I can not believe Ellie is six years old today. It's madness how fast time flies.
Ellie was born at 12:01pm on 16th September 2013, weighing 6lb 10oz.
It doesn't seem possible that she was born six years ago!! SIX!! Craziness.
Ellie is really growing up, she's outgoing, out spoken and certainly an out-doorsy girl. She's smart, funny and sweet and is becoming more and more independent every day. She's also becoming more girly.
