February Bucket List Update.
09:20
Each month I set a family bucket list. Things for us all to achieve and some personal goals for myself. I prefer having a bucket list because it gives me something to aim for and it's satisfying when I achieve those "goals". The kids also enjoy our monthly bucket lists, it's something we an do as a family. :-)
We did do Valentines arts and crafts. We decorated heart shaped jigsaw puzzles, which Ellie loved and we weaved hearts! They remind us of dream catchers, they're super cool.
We also made pancakes, which the kids devoured! Yum.
We DID bake cupcakes for Valentines day, again, the kids devoured those too, hehe.
We had a wonderful half term, we visited castle park, went to the cinema, fed the ducks... climbed trees in the woods! It was busy and so much fun. I was sad when the kids went back to school, I miss them so much!
Look for signs of spring. We did! We spotted so many flowers and bulbs popping through the ground.
Be creative with the kids - we did arts and crafts for Valentines day. I feel we could have done more creative things though, but still.
Loose weight. - FAIL. I am eating healthier though. Small steps is the key.
Read more! Yes! I did this. I read 'Me before you' by Jojo moyes and I'm currently 70% through the second book 'After You'. I'll finish that this weekend probably.
Oragnise the kitchen - I have cleared out some cupboards and thrown some stuff away, plus got a few bits to give to the local charity shop. I do need to organise my kitchen drawers and a couple of other cupboards but at least I've started.
Have the kids decorate biscuits - We didn't do this one. I think we'll probably so some Easter biscuits or something like that, maybe.
Get out more! I have certainly done this. Especially over half term. I've been walking a lot more, too. Which is great for weight loss. When the weather gets better, it'll be easier. :)
I hope you all had a lovely February, too! What have you achieved this month? What's been your highlights?

ReplyDeleteI think it is great idea to create a list of things we want to do/achieve in a month! It would definitely be useful for me as I tend to get over excited about things and forget about other stuff.
