The one with the pretty views.
12:39Living in the countryside means we have lots of places to explore, beautiful places at that! The weather hasn't been great so far this summer so when it IS sunny (rare!) we always try to make the most of it. One day after school, we went for a lovely walk, exploring our area and there were so many pretty views.
We did actually sport what we think, was a baby deer but it was too fast for us to get close enough to have a proper look! I actually saw a deer right by our back fence a few weeks ago.
We could see right over the river as it was so clear and warm. We had a wonderful walk, I hope we have more sunny days, we'd quite like to go on a picnic on top of the hills!
How have you been enjoying the weather?

Lovely views and lovely photos with of your little ones. I have been out walking a lot recently too, to get fitter and appreciate the views. I find it makes it a bit more fun to take photos of the views while I'm on my walks. I hope we get some brighter days soon too.

I love days like that. What beautiful and stunning photos. #KCACOLS
ReplyDeleteYou're right, the Summer weather has been lousy so far! Wow, what spectacular views you have and credit to you for getting the kids out exploring. Not enough of us (me included) do that any more - note to self! ;) Tx
ReplyDeleteYour photos are absolutely stunning, what a lovely summery day! The bright yellow fields against the blue sky is just a gorgeous contrast!

That is a beautiful view and your kids look like they enjoy the view too! The weather has been really weird in my neck of the woods. Yesterday, it literally went from rainy and chilly to sunny and hot in a manner of 10 minutes and it did that ALL DAY! It was like Mother Nature was confused - or she was just playing pranks on us all day, LOL! Popping over from #fartglitter
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful views where you live, you are very lucky! You photos are stunning. #KCACOLS
ReplyDeleteI wish the weather was nicer. I love exploring the countryside but with a pregnant wife and a healing ankle fracture it doesn't seem like it's going to happen unless it's really nice. #kcacols

ReplyDeleteBeautiful views! We move to the countryside last October and I love it. I'd love to wander through the fields but I'm not sure what the etiquette is with farmers! #KCACOLS

ReplyDeleteI love the longer evenings for being able to get out after school. Your local area looks so pretty and green, or at least after a week in Greece for me it looks very green and lush there. Well done on making the most of your time and local area and go for that picnic!

I love your photos! SO clear and bright and crisp! Its so true about the weather. Not a sunny moment here. The whole week was gloomy so I agree of taking advantage of it when its sunny. #countrykids
