January TBR.
00:00Last year, I set myself a goal of reading 50 books. I smashed it! I read a total of 54 books during 2016, which was really good going for me! I have set myself a goal of 50 books to read this year. I will be sharing my book list in another blog post so please do look out for that. I'm always open to book suggestions, too. What was the best book you've read recently? Let me know in the comments.
This is my book list for January 2017.
- The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
- Where She Went by Gayle Foreman (The sequal to 'If I stay')
- The Sun Is Also A star by Nicola Yoon
- Haunted Liverpool 1 by Tom Slemen
What's on your 'To Be Read' list?

Well done at exceeding your 2016 goal! I'm sure you'll do it again. Got a book for Christmas - a biography about Audrey Hepburn written by her son (can't remember the title). I'm enjoying it so far. Not too sure of good books. Previously been buying from charity shops, but having been very unimpressed I've changed my mind and decided to look for advised books. I also want to read A Streetcat called Bob. Love to hear your recommendations! You read so much x
ReplyDeleteI'd like to read Where she went. I got a new book for Christmas but have been in hospital and cant wait to go home and read it. I didn't think to ask my hubby to bring it in!
ReplyDeleteDon't have a spicy book in mind but I do plan on reading some books this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to #sharewithme and Happy New Year! Can't remember the last time I got through a book
ReplyDeleteThats amazing, well done! I have to admit I am only reading travel books at the moment but my bedside reading at the moment is the Lonely Planet guide to Iceland.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenge! I'm trying to read more this year and managed to read two books on New Year's Day! That won't last! 'm currently reading The Lie Tree by France Hardinge and I'm looking forward to reading Boy by Roald Dahl and The Girl who Saved Christmas by Matt Haig and Chris Mould, both were Christmas presents.

Wow well done on achieving your goal! I really must read more books - I need to organise my time better! ox
ReplyDeleteI want to finish a couple of books that I started in December. It seems so long ago that I forgot the titles. x
ReplyDeleteWow, 54 books in a year, that's very good! Although I have to read books for work in addition to the ones I read for myself, so I could say I'd read more than that.
ReplyDeleteMy recommendation is After the Crash by Michel Bussi.
Good luck with your challenge, I love to read but I think 50 in a year would be to much for me. Mich x
ReplyDeleteNice selection there and I see you've already read one :) Thanks for sharing with #ReadWithMe
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I rarely get time to read now I have a baby. But I love anything by James Patterson, he's a great author x
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about James Patterson books, which one would you mostly recommend? :)
DeleteI have a couple of books by Michael Bussi out from the library that I hope to read this month x
ReplyDeleteWow where did you find the time to read sooo many books and entertain the children too? #readwithme
ReplyDeleteStaying up way too late to read mostly! And then regretting the next day, haha.
DeleteI read The Sun is Also a Star and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, I have just signed up for the Goodreads 2017 challenge and set myself a target of 52 books this year.
ReplyDeleteOhh excellent! You can do it! :)
DeleteYou are inspirational as I really want to read so much more than I do. As for the reading list, just some of the books I buy and never get round to reading and that is at least in the hundreds - I need more lives to juggle it all
ReplyDeleteWell done you! I've never heard of these three, hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the Goodreads book challenge too and have set myself a target of 55 as I read 50 last year. Good luck.x
ReplyDeleteI'm really trying to read more and keel staying up far too late to do it as it's the only time I can get! Well done on reaching your 50 book goal :) #readwithme
ReplyDeleteSounds so nice. Good luck with all your reads this month.
ReplyDeleteYou have some brilliant bucket list goals! I may have to steal some of them - especially the park adventures and family movie nights!! Happy new year! #BlogReqNYPost
