March Book Reviews #50books2013

Welcome to my March book review post for the #50books2013. I got a kindle fire for my birthday so I have been busy transferring my books onto that and I have had to edit my book list a little but that's ok. I really love my Kindle fire!! I can read in the dark, yay! I must admit though, last month I did read a large print paper book because I do miss my paper books. I just can't read print that's too small because of my eyes (no I don't need glasses, I have an eye 'condition').
Anyhow.. here goes..

When Girlfriends Step up by Savannah Page.

I'll try not to give too much away!!!

This book was the sequel to 'When Girlfriends Break Hearts' which I'll be honest, I was told I wouldn't NEED to read to get this story. I kind of wish I had of read it first though.

This book is about a college graduate (Robin) that has a one night fling with her friends ex boyfriend. She becomes pregnant. Basically he doesn't want anything to do with the baby.. or her. Robin is unlucky in love. Her friends help her. You can really tell her and her friends have a very good relationship and are very supportive. Mr right hasn't come along yet... or has he? Will Robin live happy ever after?
I loved the relationship Robin has with her friends. This book does show courage and strength which is something else I really liked about this story.

This wasn't my normal kind of read, I felt like a change! I am glad I read this book. It only took me a day (on and off. I started it early Sunday morning, put it down for a few hours, went back to it in the evening and finished it around 11pm) to read. It was quite an easy read although I would only give it 3.5 stars. Probably because I didn't read the first one. It's a little boring 1/3 of the way thru but it gets better. There is a sequel which I might read at some point.

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire.

I honestly did not expect to enjoy this book as I did. I'm not even sure WHY I liked this book so much but omg, it was really good! It's another young adult romance book, which is why I thought I probably wouldn't like it because honestly, there's very few I do/have enjoyed. This book is quite cheesey but it didn't put me off!
Abby is a good girl. Travis is a tattooed 'bad boy', he fights, and he drinks (He's not an alcoholic though). He's everything Abby should stay way from.  Travis isn't the type to settle down, he's never had a girlfriend but is a bit of a womaniser when it comes to women. He's practically the complete opposite of Abby.  Abby and Travis meet during college.
Honestly I don't even know what to say about this book except I read it within a day and half (Probably would've read it within half a day if I had the chance!) It's addictive, easy to read and I loved it, although I'm probably not suppose to admit that I liked it so much. I loved Travis character!

Honestly, I should've wrote this review sooner. I finished this book a week ago and forgot to write the review!
"He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior…

The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he’d worked so hard to overcome, and the future she’d put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.

Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth—and find the unexpected power of love.

A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl's struggle to regain the trust she's lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy."

This book was brilliant! Another book I couldn't put down. I really enjoyed it! I loved the characters, I loved the way it's written. It is so easy to read!
I don't want to give anything away, I know a couple of people reading this have it on there reading list. So I won't spoil it.
Five stars from me!
