The one where we visit a garden centre.
00:00Last weekend, Ellie and I visited our local garden centre with my grandparents. We were hoping to see Santa and his reindeer but unfortunately we had just missed him. We still had a lovely time looking around the garden centre though and we have a great excuse to go back next weekend, hehe!
Here are some photos I took.
Ellie was all "Take my photo in front of the display mum" Bless her. She enjoyed looking at all the Christmas displays as much as I did! I'm glad she appreciates garden centres, not so sure my boys would be as enthusiastic, haha.
This was Ellie's favourite display and it's so very cute! She fell in love with the little deer, bless.
And Ellie spotted these spring flowers and was like "Spring Flowers?? In December??" All puzzled and confused, haha, bless her. They are so pretty though! Now I'm kind of looking forward to spring already!
I know I could have done a lot better with taking these photos but the lighting was so poor and the garden centre was near on closing, it was a rush! I am really hoping we can go back this weekend or perhaps when the kids have broken up from school so they can all visit Santa. We could get there early when it's not so busy and we'll have longer to look around :-)
We are SO excited for Christmas!

ReplyDeleteThese photos make me happy. They remind me of when I used to go shopping for trees and ornaments with my dad. I thought the tube they used to put the trees in bags was part of the playground! Thanks for sharing them. #happydiaries

ReplyDeleteWe love visiting garden centres too, although O's favourite thing to do there is read the kids books and test out the different vinegars and oils in the food section (they have little pieces of bread to dip in the oils etc.!)! I love seeing all the Christmas displays and flowers, a shame you missed Santa though. Hope you saw him another day? Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather, I hope you have an amazing 2016. Happy New Year! :) x
