October TBR

00:00

I set myself a goal to read fifty books this year. I'll be honest, I thought that goal was slightly ambitious of me. However, I have read a total of forty six books this year. I only have four books to go before I meet my target, which I know I'll do easily and then some too... Hopefully. I've read many different genres and styles of stories but in October, I am going to (try - Being the keyword) and stick with spooky, creepy stories because it's October and October means HALLOWEEN!
I wrote a blog post on how I make time to read, so if you're looking for tips on how to read more, please do head over and check that out here.

The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman.
I picked this book up in a charity shop. (Nice find!)
This book has been recommended to me by a friend and I've seen it floating around on YouTube as a recommended read for October as it's quite creepy in places.

Penpal by Dathan Auderbach
I don't know much about this book but it was recommended from... I am not quite sure but it Fantasy/paranormal/Thriller genre and sounds like a good read for October.

Your House is on Fire, Your Children Have Gone by Stefan Kiebye
This book is horror/historical fiction and sounds right up my street! It's quite a short read of only 198 pages!

 Coraline by Neil Gaiman

This book is a recommended read, my friend Laura from Laura in bookish land recommended I read this book and it is on just about every creepy book list there is! This sounds like the perfect read for October.

Those are the books I'd really like to read during October. They're mostly short(ish) books so I think I can achieve this one! Lets just hope I'm in the mood for being spooked out, haha.

What's on your October 'To Be Read' list? Let me know in the comments. Do you have any recommendations for creepy/spooky stories?
