September round up.
00:00September was a fairly busy month for us.
We started the month off with a lovely family picnic which was a lot of fun! The weather has been really beautiful. Although, I do prefer the cooler weather, we still made the most of the warm weather!
The kids went back to school - Ellie started in year 4, Harry started year 8 and Charlie started high school - YEAR 7! I still find it hard to believe that I now have two children attend high school. Where does the time go?
Charlie has settled into high school really well but struggles a little with the homework sometimes - He does get rather a lot! Harry has also settled in well and has been showing Charlie the ropes of high school. I think they're both pleased to be back in the same school again! And Ellie has truly settle into year 4 really well! I am so proud of them all.
Ellie also turned nine years old. She is the oldest in year four. Wow. It doesn't seem possible that she's nine years old. Craziness. She had a wonderful Birthday though. Unfortunately I was poorly but she still had a lovely sleepover with her best friend who she doesn't see very often. She got some really lovely gifts, too! Ellie asked for a colourful cake, thankfully ASDA had one because I wasn't feling up to baking.
I have finally got back into walking and I'm trying really hard to reach my goal of 10k steps 5 days a week! I love walking, especially this time of year. Autumn is my absolute favourite time of year and I am really fortunate to live in such a beautiful place!
We have also enjoyed a couple of walks and trips to the park! The kids found a rope swing in the woods, which they just loved swinging on, hehe. We can't wait to go for more walks and perhaps find some conkers next time!
I spent half of September really quite poorly with a bad flu/cold/sore throat etc but I'm better now so I'm sure I will enjoy October! We have made a bucket list for October & Halloween so we have lots to look forward to! I am also going to try 'BlogTober' - A blog post every day for a whole month!
Wish me luck!
How was your September?
