Easter Sun catcher Decorations & Giotto Metallic Decor Pens from Yellow Moon {Review}
17:41
My little ones (especially my daughter, aged 6) absolutely love arts and crafts. It's something they never get bored of! We were sent these lovely Easter Sun Catchers to review from Yellow Moon.
These sun catchers come in a pack of six and are priced £2.99.
Ellie and Charlie could not wait to get stuck into decorating these! They used the along with Giotto Metallic Decor Pens (also from Yellow Moon) which worked perfectly on the suncatchers. They are so easy to use, bright and colourful!They loved colouring the suncatchers in and then threading the silver chord through the holes. We hung them up on the kitchen window. The sun catchers them perfectly and creates a slight patern on the opposite wall!
"Wow, it looks so colourful" said Ellie.
"They look perfect hanging up there, they remind me of stained glass windows" Charlie announced.
The Easter sun catchers come in six fun Easter designs. Ours includes, two Easter eggs, some flowers, an Easter bunny, a basket of carrots and a chick! The pack also includes the chord to hang the sun catchers with. They are 10cm (approx) just the right size and perfect for hanging from any window.
My little ones thoroughly enjoyed decorating these sun catchers and is a really cute Easter/ Spring arts & crafts activity for any child.
The Giotto Metallic Decor Pens can be used on most surfaces including wood, glass, porcelain, stone and plastic. They were perfect for decorating the sun catchers as they have a medium tip. We were sent 5 metallic colours - Gold, Silver, Magenta, Blue Metal & Bronze.
The pens are water based and suitable for children aged 3+
They are bright and colourful and very easy to use. I did notice that the colours looked a lot brighter once the pen had dried on our sun catchers. We also tested them on making lolly stick characters and I must say the pens work well on those, too! I am really impressed as are my little ones!
I would recommend the sun catchers and metallic decor pens to anyone who enjoys arts and crafts. In my opinion they are well worth the money and we will certainly be using them again in the future!
