Shouty Arthur by Angie Morgan {Childrens book review}
18:08"We haven't see any wildlife yet, Edith!" shouted Arthur.
"That's because you're too shouty," said Edith. "You promised to be quiet."
"Being quiet is very hard," said Arthur.
Shouty Arthur is the LOUDEST and MOST SHOUTIEST boy alive. He wants to go wildlife watching with his sister Edith but he can't understand why the animals are nowhere to be seen.
"This hilarious, energetic and quirky book is the first in a series from Angie Morgan. It will have parents and children alike laughing from start to finish."
Shouty Arthur is a beautifully illustrated childrens book by Angie Morgan. The story is about siblings looking for wildlife but Arthur is so 'shouty' that he doesn't get to see any wildlife! I read this story to my daughter Ellie who was imeditly drawn in as she loved the pictures.
"He's so shouty, that's scaring all the animals away." Ellie said. We laughed out loud all the way through this book.
Ellie thoroughly enjoyed this story - we've read it a few times now and it never gets old. Its cute, funny and beautifully illustrated. The pictures are bright and colourful which kept Ellie's attention all the way through the book. She loved discussing each picture in the book.
In the back of the book are some tips on how to watch wildlife! Now Ellie wants to go on a wilelife hunt.. Sounds like fun to me!!
This book is priced £6.99 from Egmont. It's well worth the money in my opinion. I can see this book becoming a favourite of Ellie's.
