Swizzels Matlow Squashies & love hearts {review}
20:45Swizzels Matlow Sweets sent us some very lovely sweets to review. We were sent a packet of four love hearts and a packet of squashies (145g).
The little one's couldn't wait to get there teeth stuck into these, hehe.
Love hearts have always been on my favourite sweets. I remember when I was a child I would rush to the shop on a Friday and always pick love hearts. Love hearts are also one my kids favourite sweets, too.
The kids devoured them (as you can probably see in the pics). "They taste so sweet and delicious" Charlie said. Ellie loved the loved the love hearts because.. well, they're heart shaped! And that's a good enough reason in itself, bless her. Harry preferred the squashies "They taste amazing and I love that they're all squashy" he said.
The kids really enjoyed them, as did I!
Love heart squashies are currently £1 for a 145g bag. Which I think is very reasonable and make the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Love hearts pack of 4 are also priced at around £1 for a packet of four packs. Again, also very reasonable.
Did you know, 1.75 billion sweets are produced a year and there are over 150 different romantic messages on love hearts? Wow. Pretty impressive!!
This year love hearts are celebrating there 60th Birthday. And to celebrate they are running a competition. Love hearts are giving there fans a chance to design and create there very own love hearts message and win a VIP tour of the factory to see there very own love heart being made! The prize includes:
The Prize: Ten winners will have their chosen Love Heart message go into production where they will be inserted into rolls of Love Hearts for a limited period. The ten winners will be invited, for a VIP tour to see their Love Heart sweet in production in New Mills, Derbyshire which is not open to the public. The prize includes travel expenses, 1 night’s accommodation in the vicinity of the Swizzels Matlow factory, transport from the hotel to the Swizzels Matlow factory and £100 spending money.
You can enter on the LOVE HEARTS website or the Facebook app, which also contains more information about the competition & the terms and conditions.
The competition ends 31st August 2014
We were sent the products in the photos for the purpose of this review, all opinions are our own, honest, personal opinions.
