Reasons to be Cheerful and Thankful.
06:00I haven't really been feeling myself lately, I have a lot of things going on in my personal life right now. I don't feel that a public blog is the place to share those personal things and feelings. I am going to see if I can find reasons to be cheerful/thankful this week, I feel like I need to find the positives.
2) I am actually quite cheerful about the rain, it kind of reflects on my mood lately. It's also helping to clear the air. It's been very humid and the air felt so close. I love listening to the rain tapping on the window when I'm all cosy inside - like right now, lol.
3) I am really glad the little's break up from school this week. For a whole week. The boys are spending some time with there dad. I plan on blitzing the whole house and having a de clutter mission, that always helps me feel better! It'll be nice to spend some time with the kids, too. Perhaps one day next week we can go out for a picnic or something, as long as the weather is nice. If not? We'll picnic inside with a movie or two.
There ARE always positives in amongst the negatives, I need to hold onto those positives.
Things could always be worse... right?!

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling like yourself lately, I hope things pick up for you soon :)
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed the rain and storms this week too...it's been far too humid over this way as well and it was great to have a bit of a downpour x
Sometimes finding the positives, when you feel low, can really help.
ReplyDeleteRecently I have been grateful for the love from the blogging community too xxx
So sorry to hear you have troubles - you can still write them down if it helps which it often does even if not in public or on a blog. Make some magical memories this Half Term. I too like the rain to break the humidity and to reflect ever-changing moods. I have no idea what I would do without the community of social media. Talking to the wall gets boring.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week
Well done for finding some positives. Hugs for all the other stuff xx
ReplyDeleteLovely post - I think sometimes I dwell on the bad as well a little too much - definitely love the blogging community even this morning when all was going wrong to see people rally around was amazing. x
ReplyDeleteIf you google 'smiling goat' it brings up some pictures that always cheer me up!
