Mr Hendrix and the heroic rescue. {Childrens book review}

'The Third Adventure Of Mr Hendrix in Mr Hendrix and His Heroic Rescue. Will Mr Hendrix be able to save Sir Samuel the Second's daughter when she falls into danger?'
This is a beautiful children's book written by A.J Fox and is illustrated by Eva Sassin. This lovely children's book tells the story of how Mr Hendrix and Olivia go on a picnic. Hendrix and his friends 'Kitty' and 'Sid' are playing down by the pond when they meet a squirrel, squirrels daughter 'Stephanie' has fallen into the pond. Oh no! Will Hendrix be able to save the baby squirrel?

I read this story to my daughter, Ellie who is six years old.

This book is such a cute story that is beautifully illustrated with bright pictures that match the story perfectly.

 What Ellie really like about this book is that there are colouring pages in the back of the book that she can colour in.

There's also 'Spot the difference' in the back of the book, too! With five differences to spot! Ellie really enjoyed finding all the differences.

Ellie said "This is such a nice book and lots to do, too. I love the animals, they are so cute, especially Kitty" She really enjoyed the story and loved the pictures! She enjoyed the colouring pictures and spotting the differences. She can even read a few of the words herself, which I thought was quite impressive.

There's lots for children to join in with, it's a cute story and I would recommend this story to any young child.
