1,2,3 reasons to be cheerful
19:48
1) The kids are all doing so well at school! Next week is Charlies sports day, Harrys sports day & Ellies parents "evening" although my appointment is after lunch because it's just easier all 'round. I can not believe that in September I will be a mum to a reception child, a year 3 and a year 4 child! Gosh, they grow up so fast.
2) I don't need another lumbar puncture *touch wood* I had a neurologist appointment today. She said she doesn't think a lumbar puncture would help me because last time the pressure wasn't really "high". Although, I do still suffer headaches so she has put me on different tablets and I am to wean myself off the other ones slowly! Lets hope the new tablets work. I just can't tell you how happy I am that I don't need another lumbar puncture. At least not any time soon. Unless of course the headaches get more intense. The dull ache behind my eyes and blurred vision is still present, but I think that's more to do with my eyes rather than my actual brain. Hopefully this is the road to recovery?
3) Tomorrow is Friday. Hoping to have a chilled out weekend without any chaos, lol.
All very good reasons to be cheerful. :)

ReplyDeleteGoodness, I don't understand your condition but a puncture anywhere in the back area (or anywhere on the body period) makes me shudder. Just getting a spinal epidural for my c-section was enough for me!
