I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for all your lovely comments. I really love reading them all. I know I suck at commenting and replying back but I promise I do read them! Also, I know I haven't been the best blogger lately. (Still suffering with the annoying headache - driving me insane)
Anyhow, how are you all enjoying the summer holidays so far? What do you all have planned?
So we've taken the kids to the park, crabbing, for a picnic and visited family. The weather is suppose to change next week (more rain, ugh) I hope it's wrong though as we're planning a beach trip next week since I live right by the beach (a mile or so away, something like that).

1) My fella is here!!! Yay!! Always a great reasons to be cheerful. I miss him SO much when he is not here. When he is here I am so much happier and just.. well, we work so well as a team, it's lovely to have some company and some help.
2) Today we took the kids on a picnic by the river (an hour away on the bus!) and then went crabbing, for a walk and the kids even had a bit of a paddle in the river. We also popped into my mums for a coffee (or cold drink in my case.) The best day for such a long time. Such fun.
3) I am really looking forward to the weekend, just to chillax. It is very, very much needed this week, what a busy week we have had! I shall find time to write about it sometime.... (and also catch up on the blogs I follow. Perhaps I'll have chance to get on the computer for longer this weekend. Bare with)

Gosh, it has been SO hot here today. Me and the kids lounged around in the garden most of the day... well no, ALL day. I thought to myself "Oh, I'll get a lovely tan" Didn't think of applying sun cream to myself (I did the kids obviously) because I never burn. Ever. Then mid afternoon I came inside and realised I had burnt! Badly. I am in total agony now. I know why I have burned, in my bath this morning I put in some bath oil (because I am addicted to it, thought I had rinsed it all off but eh, I was interrupted 9375894 times, my batgh was like 5 mins in and out lol) and me not really thinking about it... yeah, I cooked! Total pain. Never felt pain quite like this before. At least I should go a nice brown colour, right? Have a nice tan? At least on the front of my legs, the back of my legs are white LOL. Should've turned over, except well, I wasn't laying down, I was sitting with my feet up reading breaking dawn part 2. Again. I was paying no attention to my tan, ops.

1) Today it's sunny! This is a reason to be cheerful as we really haven't had much sunshine at all lately. Typical British Summer.
2) Tomorrow is the last day of term for SIX WEEKS. Lots of lazy mornings, no more rushing around (I've been saying this for weeks - I CAN NOT WAIT!)
3) My kitten is better, poor little Lotti has been so, so poorly and at one point I really didn't think she was going to make it (as sad as that sounds) but she pulled thru and is back to being her usual hyper self. Thank goodness!
4) The kids are really happy that it's almost the end of term and they get six weeks off school. Seeing them happy, makes me happy :)

Phew. I just finished reading Before I go to sleep by SJ Watson. I really enjoyed it. It took me a few weeks  to read because, well, I'll be honest I haven't been in the mood for reading much lately, nor had the time. I decided today I was going to find my e-reader and finish the book. So glad I didI'm not going to say too much about it incase you're currently reading it/want to read it. Have you read it? What are your views?
I'm stuck for something to read next though.. hmm. Any suggestions? I have a few on my 'To read' list but I'd rather something new. I really wish I could get into the Hunger Games, but I just can't, although I did enjoy the movie.

Lotti is doing much better now. She is a lot better than she was, still not 100% but much better! I can not tell you how relieved I am. Honestly, I shed a few tears because I hate seeing her poorly, I really wasn;t sure she was going to make it. I just hope she continues getting better! Poor little kitten :( She has lost a lot of weight, I can feel her bones when I stroke her and I HATE that. I've been feeding her fresh cooked chicken breast as advised and will continue to do so mixing it in with her kitten food until she is 100% better. She is on antibiotics and medicine to line her little tummy along with dyralite stuff but for cats obviously, she has 60ml of that throughout the days well as her water which she laps herself and is sleeping in my bedroom, with me. (I know, I said I wouldn't do that because there are SO many hiding places upstairs and plus, it CAN be a bad habit but I just can not bare to leave her alone) She sleeps all night snuggled into me purring. So sweet <3 I really NEED a scratch post for her asap. Lol she is trying to drag my slipper across the room, aww.

Kids are all good. Looking forward to the last five days of school before schools out for summer. Yay! No more rushing around in the mornings like a headless chicken, no having to do packed lunches and school uniforms, yay! However, I am kind of dreading it because I've no idea how I am suppose to keep the kids entertained for such a long time, lol. Just hope and pray for good weather so that we can go to the beach, have picnics, time at the park etc.
We've got an after school tea party Thursday, as the head teacher of the infant school is leaving & Friday is Charlies leavers assembly as he will be leaving infant school & going up to Junior school in September (I can't believe I'll be a mum of two Juniors and an infant, gosh I feel old, lol.) The kids have got cards for the teachers, I just need to buy them a leavers present from the kids, or make one. I don't think Ellie realises she won't be attending nursery any more. At least she'll see the teachers every day as the nursery/pre school is part of the school. And of course her friends will be going up to primary school with her :)

So the first song. This song reminds me of my childhood after my mum and dad split up. My dad use to play this alllll the time

Second song:
Reminds me of my teenage years! I use to play this over and over and over again. Me and my friends use to sing it and even made up our own dance to it!



Third song, again same reason but reminds me of spending like 3 days in my best friends bedroom doing nothing but listening to music and watching random stuff on T.V. Like, SM:TV, rugrats, sister sister. Etc.



Fourth song was the song me and my other best friend listened to the night before I moved away :( I miss her! And I can not find her on facebook or friends reuinted. Or anywhere else. Idk where she is now and I really WISH we had of stayed in contact.



Next song. This reminds me of my kids SO much. The lyrics are so lovely.



Sixth song. Now when I went into labour with my first son, I went into hospital to be sent home again, well on the way there this song was playing. An hour later I was on my way back to the hospital and again this song was on a different radio station. So it really just reminds me of that and it actually means quite a lot to me. (A bit random I know!)


seventh song, I use to sing this when I was little girl.. .to my grandma. I know totally cheesy. She even recorded me singing it on TAPE, I think I was around 5/6 years old. I wonder if she still has it?



Eighth song - Ha! This song has helped me so much in the past. It's another post for another day but seriously I LOVE this.


Ninth song. My fave movie & my fave ALL TIME SONG! Seriosuly, this holds a lot of memories, like when I can't sleep and I lay there listening to it for hours, or when I watch the movie over and over lol. <3

Our kitten Lotti is poorly. Again.
She's not been eating or drinking and has diarrhoea. Also been trying to be sick/cough something up, Idk. I've been syringe feeding her water. Perhaps something is lodged in her throat? Perhaps she's swallowed something? Has a tummy bug? eaten something she shouldn't have/poisoned? I don't know. All I know is I hope she'll be ok. She's off to the vets later. She has lost weight and is probably about the same size she was when I first got her (almost 3 weeks ago, or was it 2? I've lost count!). She is so tiny and fragile. I really NEED for her to be ok.
She's asleep on my bed (I said I would never allow that but eh) away from noise, all snuggled up cosy and warm. Honestly, I really have bonded with her, I love her so much. As do the kids. She is part of my little family.
Please could you keep her in your thoughts/prayers for me.

Ugh, the O2 network was down yesterday and some of today. I think it's working again now but my BBMs are taking forever to send! So frustrating. I switched my blackberry from 3g to 2g and that solved the problem.. not the bbm problem though, wonder if that's my phone or O2? Hmm. I know, it's not the end of the world but even so.

We had a mini BBQ for dinner tonight, was lush! Just as we'd finished it clouded over & now looks like it is about to rain. Gotta love the British Summer, eh?! I still hope it's nice the weekend though, would be nice to sit out in the garden and play games, read and what not with my daughter. I do love our one on one time while the boys are with there dad.

I feel mega tired today. My own fault. Again. Staying up late watching old episodes of home & away on youtube. Plus, I was finding it hard to sleep last night. I think because my fella went home yesterday and I miss him so much already!

The kids are all good. The boys both got such good reports, I am SO proud of them both. I plan on getting some books from the library so they can continue reading thru the summer. We have LOADS of books but we've read them 9378467 times, lol. I know that there is some summer reading thing, something about reading 6 books? Idk, but that sounds like fun for the kids. They DO love to read!

The kitten is alright, at least I think. She hasn't been her usual playful self and hasn't eaten anything today... yet. Or had much milk. Really not sure what's up with her. I don't think she apprceiated the thunder storms yesterday and last night.

I'm feeling a little bit down today as my fella left early this morning to go back to Liverpool *sigh* I know that I'll see him again soon but I still miss him! Already. So I thought I would remind myself of reasons to be cheerful.

1) The kids break up in 9 days for SIX weeks. Now, I am really looking forward to not having to get up as early (I'll still be awake early, the kids get up early, school or no school) but at least I won't be rushing around like a headless chicken, trying to get everyone ready and out the door by 8:25am.
2) The kitten (Lotti) is SO much better now! She jumps around and does these little kangaroo and bunny hops, so cute.
3) I am looking forward to a chillaxed weekend, just me and my daughter :-) I am also hoping the weather will be nice, it'd be nice to be able to spend the day outside, even just in the garden, reading or whatever.

Gosh. It's all been happening here in North Essex.
For those of you who watch the news would've heard about the double shooting that happened yesterday. A man shot an off duty police officer and another man (with leg injuries). I don't know all the details but the police helicopters were out for HOURS yesterday and police were urging everyone to stay inside as the gunman was on the lose. This happened about 10-15 from where I live so it was very scary!

The gunman apparently killed himself (The above link goes into more detail). My heart, thoughts and love goes out to the police officers (and those involved) loved ones. I can't even imagine.

Charlies BBQ on Saturday went really well! He had an amazing birthday, received some really lovely gifts and some birthday money which he can spend in the summer holls & put some into his savings account :) He enjoyed the bouncy castle, as did the other kids. Also enjoyed pass the parcel and seeing all the family! I still can not believe he is seven years old *sigh* time flies & kids grow waaaaayyy to fast. I love watching him grow and learn new things though. It truly is bitter sweet.

I shall post some pics and do more of an update soon... maybe at the weekend when things here are a little calmer, we have so much going on at the moment - there aren't enough hours in the day!

Just a quick post again today. I've been so busy this week with sports day, parents evening/afternoons, primary school induction, assemblies ect. Plus, I have been organising everything for Charlies 7th Birthday BBQ. Please pray for a dry day tomorrow, doesn't matter if the sun isn't out (although that would be really nice!) just a dry day so we can have a bouncy castle and BBQ for Charlies birthday. He's never had a Birthday party before (Just a tea party) so this is really important.  It's so wet and raining today, ugh! It's been so nice all week and now we have Rain. Typical!
So much to do today - cooking some of the food - sausage rolls, cocktail sausages etc. Also needed to sweep the garden path but can't do that because of the rain, ugh. And the gazebbo has fell down, double ugh! I'm sue everything will fall into place just as long as the weather brightens up. Here's a screen shot of the forecast. (From BBC weather)

Today I had my daughters (nursery/pre school) parents evening (or rather afternoon) and I am SO proud of her. I looked thru her folder and book which is full of her work and photos. She has done some really lovely paintings and drawings. Her key worker (J) explained what levels she is at on each development goal and what not. Ellie is above average on most things, especially numbers/maths. Her social skills are excellent, she is confident, bright and very clever. She said what a pleasure it is to have Ellie in the class, she is very polite and very well behaved. I am so pleased and proud!

Tomorrow is Els sports day & induction to "big school". So excited and very much looking forward to that. Praying for good weather at least for tomorrow morning for sports day. :)

This week is going to be really busy.
Tomorrow is grocery shopping day, buying BBQ bits/food and we need to go get a BBQ (which I might add I have been saving up for! As well as the food etc for his birthday I have also saved for!). Wednesday is Ellies (nursery) sports day and then in the afternoon is parents meeting and Ellies induction to primary school (I still can not believe my baby girl is going to be starting primary school in September). Thursday I am suppose to have a hospital appointment but I may need to cancel it as it's at an awkward time and I won't be home in time to collect the children from school. Friday I have a doctors appointment regarding medication (for my brain condition) Also, my middle son (Charlie) has a non uniform day & a table top sale after school and a special assembly in the afternoon. And then Saturday is Charlies 7th Birthday BBQ. Hoping for good weather!

 Phew, what a busy week!

The boys are all busy doing end of the school year activities - school trips, fun days, play days etc. I shall write more about that perhaps in my next post when I know more about those. Less than three weeks and the kids break up from school for the summer (6 weeks) holidays! Eek, I need to plan and arrange some days out/activities to keep us busy.
