daffodil review kit

Yellow moon sent us this lovely daffodil wreath kit to review.
My little ones love arts & crafts, especially Ellie.
The daffodil wreath kit includes:
  • Each pack contains thick foam template, pre-cut foam pieces, ribbon and instructions
  • Wreath size 23cm diameter
  • No glue required
  • Aged 5+
  • Makes a daffodil wreath.

Then Ellie stuck the green flower petals onto the heart shaped wreath.
I took an orange strip with wavy edges and rolled it up tightly so it made a "bud" (pollen)  shape. Once I'd shown Ellie how to do it, she had no problem doing this herself! She poked it through the pre cut holes of the yellow and green flower shapes, creating a daffodil.

"It really DOES look like a daffodil, it even has pollen" Ellie declared. She was impressed with how easy it was to make a daffodil and she's right, it really couldn't be any easier. Once she'd finished making the daffodils and sticking them on the wreath, we threaded the piece of ribbon through the hole and hung it up!

This is a lovely Spring craft and is aimed at children aged 5+. Ellie throughly enjoyed making this and was very impressed with the end result, as was I. The foam is quite thick and good quality. It was simple enough for Ellie (aged 6) to do herself once I'd shown her how. It's now hanging in the kitchen window and looks lovely!

The daffodil wreath kit is reasonably priced at £2.50 which I think is well worth it in my opinion.

This is a lovely spring craft, indeed.
