The perfect view.
20:58The last couple of days I've been rather active, I am trying really hard to loose weight. My goal is 10,000 steps a day and either power walking/jogging for half an hour or doing a half an hour workout. Although, I will only be doing this 4 times a week (and the other two days I'll still do 10k steps). So far so good!
I met up with my sister this morning and we sat and had lunch along the river while we ate and caught up with each others lives. It was so therapeutic sitting on that bench, let me tell you! We had amazing views. It's a pity it wasn't sunny but still some beautiful scenery. And it meant extra steps walking up to the river bank, which is a bonus! I hope you enjoy the pics!

Oh my goodness what an absolutely gorgeous looking place. Good luck with your 10,000 steps a day as well! x
ReplyDeleteI love water views from a home but would worry anytime there is torrential rain. Eek!
ReplyDeleteWell done for keeping your steps high! X
Now that is a really lovely view and despite the weather it sounds like you had a lovely time x
ReplyDeleteWow what a beautiful place to go for a walk! I set myself 10k step challenge too but I get thrown off when my fit bit needs to be recharged !

Beautiful photos. I'm always really calm and content when I'm near water. It's a great place to sit and chat.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, a really wonderful location to relax. I think it's easy to walk a little bit more when the scenery is like this :)
ReplyDeleteI aim for 10000 steps a day too and my Fitbit motivates me a lot. Good luck x

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful view - well done with your steps, I must start exercising, I think a goal such as you've set yourself would suit me. Thank you. Kaz x
ReplyDeleteThere's something intriguing about a long path leading out of the picture.. It didn't have to be sunny for you to see the beauty, can you imagine the sights if it had of been? -Woo!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful and scenic views, I wouldn't mind living there with such a view
ReplyDeleteThese are some really pretty pictures. Often on a summers day me and my friends or me and my sister will visit our local canal and take a slow stroll along it. It's a lovely way to catch up and enjoy the weather and often after a couple of hours we realize we've burned loads of calories without even trying x
ReplyDeleteWow! Absolutely beautifu1. There really is green and pleasant land out there!
ReplyDeleteSeamless place to retire! Haha. truly relaxing! :)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your 10,000 steps. It's not too difficult once it becomes a daily habit - I found. Would you believe yesterday I hit 40,000? It's only the second time I've ever done that many but I'm dead chuffed. :) Stunning views too!
ReplyDeleteOh how can you not go out and do 10K steps when you live in such beautiful surroundings?! I grew up on the East coast and this really reminds me of home when I was younger - beautiful. Good luck with your venture #KCACOLS

Lovely photos - and good luck with the 10k steps a day, that's a lot but with walks like this totally do-able. Now if the sun would stick around that'd be even better :) #mmbc
