April Bucket List Update.
00:00I'm a couple of days late posting our 'April Bucket List' update but its better late than never, right?
During the month of April I was quite poorly with flu and the Intracranial idiopthic hypertension flared up, which really didn't help. I'm not really sure we achieved much on the bucket list but we did our best!
First up was 'Play In The Rain'. We did manage this! It was great fun. Ellie had a wonderful time splashing in puddles with her welly boots on! We didn't let those pesky April showers stop us, haha.
We also managed a family walk in the woods which was second on our list! We're very lucky to have a huge woodland right on our doorstep. Moving here, was the best thing I ever did, not just for myself but for my children too. We have so much fun exploring the woods. The bluebells are all in bloom at the moment and they're just so lovely.
We didn't manage to have a picnic unfortunatly. The weather wasn't playing on our side. Hopefully in May though!
Donate stuff to charity. Yes! I did this! I donated a bag full of clothes that the kids had hardly used. They seem to grow out of clothes quicker than they can wear them.
Spring arts & crafts - We did do this one. We made some teddy bear sand art bottles from Baker Ross (sent for review purposes). We also made finger print animals.
Learn a new recipe. I didn't do this one. Again. I really want to invest in a slow cooker again. That was really handy last time and so much easier! I also use to try new recipes every other week!
I also put to 'Read 5 books' on my list for April. I didn't read five (I would have if I hadn't been so poorly!) but I did read a couple! Not bad going. :)
I also didn't manage to plant any seeds or flowers, sadly. Maybe this month though!
I DID find a new T.V series to watch. Well, it was a BBC drama but it still counts! It's called Thirteen about a girl who was kidnapped and held for thirteen years! It's on BBC iPlayer if you're interested. I also wrote about it in my recent favourties post.
And last but not least was 'Blow bubbles with the kids' Ellie and I had a fab time blowing bubbles in the back garden! The cat thought they were fascinating and tried chasing them. She popped one with her paw and her reaction? She ran away and growled, haha. Funny cat she is.
I also had a few proud mummy moments during April. Harrys parents evening went SO well! And the others are doing fantastic at school. I'm feeling really blessed & proud.
What did you achieve in April? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear :)

ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea to have monthly bucket lists! There is so much to do in our new house, setting up our little business and with my blogs that I think it would be a good idea if we had one too. You have inspired me. Thank you.

Love this monthly bucket list idea. Really puts the "carpe diem" spirit into each diem, doesn't it?
