Let kids be kids. #LetKidsBeKids
16:54I think most of you will agree that lately, we have hd some really, really rubbish weather! Stong winds and lots of rain & floods. But yesterday the sun shone brightly and we had a lovely, very pretty blue sky. It was cold but not as cold as it has been. So we decided to make the most of it and go for a walk as it was the last day of the school (christmas) holidays. So off we went...
It was very muddy and we should have worn welly boots! But we were in such a hurry that we didn't really think about it! We wanted to get outside while the sun was about... we were in a hurry, lol.
We walked down to the meadow and the kids were shocked at how much it has changed since last time we went there. There were no leaves on the trees and everything looked bare!
The kids ran thru the meadow and mud, lol! It was great fun. We got a bit muddy but that's ok, a dirty child is a happy child, right?! And a bit of mud never hurt anyone, it all comes out in the wash. We had a fab afternoon walking around and enjoying the sunshine, even if it was on the chilly side!
It was a fab afternoon but today it's back to the usual rain... and back to school for the little's.

Mud is great :) Kids do love it (although I'm not sure that my washing machine agrees!). Glad the sun came out and that you were able to make the most of it xx #LetKidsBeKids
ReplyDeleteA bit of mud won't hurt and they do love it don't they?
ReplyDeleteSo true, a bit of mud never hurt anyone and most kids love it! Looks like a lovely meadow to run around in.

You're right the best play is often the most messy play - isn't that what washing machines are for anyway! The way the weather has been you have to act when the sun is shining and the rain has stopped, thanks for linking up and sharing your fun with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time out to visit my blog and comment, I truly appreciate it. (Please do not leave URLs/links in the comments, thank you!)
